I want not to be a painter but a poet,
a painter prostitutes his art & heart for fame & money,
a poet writes poems of true and misery.

I want not to be a painter but a painter
who had sold a piece ever in his lifetime,
loving a woman prostituted & a woman loves others.

I want not to be a painter but a man suffers from enormous pain.
I want not to be a sufferer but a sufferer suffers from love.
I want not to be a lover but a lover loves all true man.

I want not to be a man but a man
who fights for the impossible destiny.
I want not to be a painter but a poet.
